Hey guys!! here I am to share a pang of amazing no guilt easy-peasy Oatmeal Cookies Recipe. I know this Corona Period has forced many of us to put on the extra pounds. And due to a hectic schedule, it becomes nearly impossible to follow a specific diet. At such times sugar is what our body craves. So we may consume more and put on more. It is totally fine to satisfy your sugar craving with these Oatmeal Cookies healthy. Chocolate chip with oatmeal cookies feels to go in hand in hand. So I have topped the oatmeal cookies with chocolate chip but you can top it with some dry fruits as well.
Preparation time : 5 mins | Baking time : 20-25 mins
Recipe : Oatmeal Cookies Healthy
Take a bowl(borsil preferred). Take Whole wheat flour and Rolled Oats(here Quaker Oats are used) in it.
Now to this we have to add Jaggery(powdered).
Add Butter(at room temperature). Here butter should not be too soft, but not too hard as well.
Put in the Baking Soda.
Add in Vanilla Essence.
We have to mix to the mixture and combine well using spatula. Whisk is not required.
Now add one egg. And mix it well till combines.
Till now the mixture was mostly dry. But as we add the egg it binds together the whole mixture and we get a sticky mixture.
Guys here I am using a scoop to drop cookie dough, but you can use spoons a well. Drop some cookie dough on tray.
Now sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Repeat the step 10 and step 11 till the tray space totally occupied. Guys remember to keep less space between cookies to get giant cookies.
Preheat the oven for 8-10 mins @ 180°C. Now put our tray for 10-15 mins @ 180°C. Bake time may differ so just make sure that Oatmeal Cookies are hard from outer side
Here is the perfectly baked soft in middle and chewy Oatmeal Cookies.
Remove the paper gently. While separating the paper you will notice that the cookies that looked stuck start to separate nicely as well.
Oatmeal Cookies are Ready!!
- Rolled Oats(here Quaker Oats are used): 1 and ¼ cup
- Whole wheat flour / Aata: ½ cup
- Butter(at room temperature): ½ cup
- Egg: 1
- Baking Soda: ½ tsp
- Vanilla Essence: 1 tsp
- Jaggery(powdered): 1 cup
- Chocolate Chips: ½ cup
