Garlic whole wheat bread Recipe | Follow these 3 easy Steps

In this post, I am sharing a very easy garlic whole wheat bread recipe. Whole wheat bread healthy is high in fibers, vitamins, proteins, and minerals. It makes you feel full but not bulky. It provides you with many health benefits such as balances sugar levels, improves digestive health, helps in controlling obesity, lowers the risk of diabetes, stroke, etc.

STEP 1 : Curdle

Take 450ml of milk in a bowl, to this add 2 tbsp of vinegar. Let it curdle for about 5-7 mins. Now in another bowl take the dry ingredients: 3 cups of wheat flour, 2 tsp of jaggery, 1tsp (according to your taste) of rock salt, 1½ tsp of baking powder, 1 tsp of baking soda). And mix this all to combine.

STEP 2 : MIX

Now add curd, 2 tbsp of oil, 4-5 chopped garlic petals, and 2-3 tsp of flaxseed to dry ingredients. Give it a good mix. If the mixture gets too dry or lumpy. Add in the left 50 ml milk.

STEP 3 : Bake

Pour the mixture into a greased mould (here a 7″x3″ mould is used) and sprinkle some chopped garlic and flaxseed on top. Then put the mould in :
[a pan preheated on low flame for 5-7 mins]
OR
[in the oven preheated at 170°C for about 10mins]

Let it in for 45-50 mins and then de-mould.

  1. Wheat Flour : 3 Cups
  2. Milk(lukewarm) : 500 ml
  3. White Vinegar : 2 tbsp
  4. Jaggery(powdered) : 2 tsp
  5. Garlic(finely chopped) : 4-5 petals
  6. Flaxseed : 2-3 tsp
  7. Rock Salt/ Pink Salt : 1tsp (according to your taste)
  8. Olive Oil : 2tbsp
  9. Baking Powder : 1½ tsp
  10. Baking Soda : 1 tsp
